About Dufferin Christian School
The parents of Dufferin Christian School envision DCS as a place where students and teachers are engaged in the study of various subjects and enlightened by the Word of God, as confessed in the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort, for living a life of Christian discipleship in contemporary society.
Dufferin Christian School offers a learning program that is approved by Manitoba, Education and Youth, taking into account a variety of abilities and needs God has given to each child.
Growing in Grace indicates the foundation of our faith and life – undeserved grace through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. All the growing that happens at the DCS is through this grace.
Equipping for Excellence focuses on the specific task of the school. We are all called to excellence. Through effort, encouragement, and support, every student at DCS can achieve this.
Learning For Life shows our desire for learning to be relevant, practical, and life long.
At DCS we believe that the grace shown to each of us should be recognized and extended through loving service to one another, both within and beyond our local community.
DCS offers a comprehensive and rigorous course of study, based on the Manitoba curriculum, with the goal of stimulating excellence in each unique learner.
In providing extra-curricular offerings, DCS intends students to apply their learning to life in diverse and meaningful opportunities.
"He determines the number of the stars;
he gives to all of them their names.
Great is our Lord, and abundant in power;
his understanding is beyond measure."
